Between October 1971 and March 1972 Maria Callas gave a series of master classes to a select group of young vocal students at the Julliard School of Music in New York.

In Terrence McNally's extraordinary theatrical tribute, Callas takes centre stage one more time, as she passes on to her students, and to us, the experiences and lessons of a lifetime. We witness her passion and commitment and realise the uniqueness of her great talent as she cajoles and lectures her students, delivering wisdom and insults in true diva style.
Master Class, winner of Broadway's prestigious Tony Award for Best Play, combines music and drama to give us a "behind-the-scenes" view of opera and one of its greatest exponents.

Amanda Muggleton again triumphs in a role which brilliantly displays her astounding dramatic range and classical training.
